Rooms of the Department of Translation and Interpretation Studies
The library of the Department of Translation and Interpretation Studies contains literature on translation theory, terminology, and lexicography, as well as Lithuanian and other language textbooks, a wide collection of dictionaries and other publications. Library opening hours: 9 AM – 7 PM on weekdays.
The recently renovated 80-seat Room 92 contains a full set of video-conferencing and distance-training equipment (a large screen, TV sets, and computers).
The renovated Room V2 has 30 seats, 4 simultaneous interpreting booths, and video equipment.
18-seat computer-aided translation technology training Room V1.
Room V5 hosts a new conference interpreter training centre with 20 workplaces and 5 simultaneous interpreting booths. It is suitable for video conferences and Virtual Classes with interpreters of the European Parliament and the European Commission take place here.
Renovated 13-seat and 15-seat Rooms V3 and V4.
